Triage First Response is an emergency pond conditioner for sudden water-quality issues that can put fish at risk. It neutralizes chlorine and chloramine in replacement water, addresses toxic ammonia, helps detoxify nitrite, and supports the fish’s natural mucoprotein slime coat during stressful events. One dose treats chlorine and chloramine and up to 1 ppm of ammonia; repeat dosing may be used when ammonia is higher.

Tailored For Pond Needs

Use Triage when fish have been exposed to untreated source water, after a large water change, or when a filter interruption, excess waste, or seasonal change has contributed to an ammonia spike. It provides immediate conditioning support while you restore circulation and aeration, test the water, reduce the underlying source of ammonia, and allow the pond’s biological filtration to recover. It is a first-response tool—not a replacement for correcting the condition that caused the water-quality issue.

Because ammonia is typically the compound that accumulates in bio-filtration failure, ATM Triage First Response works with a priority toward ammonia first. As ammonia disappears, ATM Triage First Response kicks into its secondary function by helping limit the toxic effects of nitrite, if present, in subsequent doses.

Instructions

Add 5ml per 38 litres (10 gallons) to effectively remove chlorine and chloramines and 1ppm of ammonia. Repeat dosage to remove more than 1ppm of ammonia. Allow at least 2 hours between dosages.
